
Micheal D'Aguilar Biography
Born 1928 A fine painter of landscapes, seascapes and figuratives. Although he was born and now lives in London, he is of part Spanish parentage and spent much of his early life in Spain. This is apparent in his style and subjects with a definite Spanish influence. He studied at the R.A. Schools 1949-54, where he won the Armitage Prize, a silver medal and the Leverhulme Scholarship. He received gold, silver and bronze medals at the Royal Drawing Society. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, R.B.A., and N.E.A.C. and in Spain. Exclusive shows were held at the Temple Gallery 1961, New Grafton Gallery 1971, Southwell Brown Gallery 1974, and the Bruton Street throughout the 1990s. He is represented in the Bradford City Art Gallery
