Casarrubios was born in Toledo, Spain, in 1953.

He studied in the Fine Art School of San Fernando of Madrid, finishing his degree in 1978.

Since then he has been taken part in many different exhibitions and received several awards, such as the following:

1978 Special Award in the Fine Paintings Exhibition in Senia

1991 Second Award in Santa Cruz del Valle exhibition

2000 Exhibition in John David Money Foundation, Chicago, USA

2001 Exhibition in Galeria Gaudi, in Chicago USA

His works can be found in many of the most important galleries around Europe and the USA.
