Antonio Paoletti Biography

A fine Italian painter who specialized in depicting the beauty of the Venetians themselves at work and play. His paintings were extremely sought after by the new breed of traveler who demanded, that as well as the architecture of Venice the inhabitants should also perform for their pleasure. He exhibited in Milam, Turin and Rome, winning the Venice prize in 1894.
