Charles Spencelayh Biography

Figure, portrait and miniature painter. Born in Rochester Kent. Lived in West Didsbury, Manchester in 1922. He studied at the Kensington School of Art. He became a member of the Royal Miniature Society in 1897 and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists in 1928.
