Eugene Lamy Biography

Born in 1855 Lamy was a fantastic painter of nudes, portraits, landscapes and historical genre. He was a member of the Society of French Artists from 1885 and received many awards including an honourable mention in 1887, in 1889 and again in 1890 at the Universal Exposition and became a Knight of the Legion d’Honneur in 1893.

His works have been exhibited across France and also in Copenhagen and London.
