Following the success of our three previous solo exhibitions of Trelis's work, we are happy to announce that we have a fantastic new body of worl from this fabulous Spanish artist under the title "Trelis's Travels".
Daniel Callaghan met up with Ignacio earlier this year in Valencia, where they discussed the direction of his latest works over Rioja and Tapas, and with the warm sun on their necks they decided that the 'hot landsape' would be a theme worth exploring. The exhibition follows Trelis around the world, capturing desert scenes and Spanish pastures, whilst capturing the faces of the people he met.
His last solo exhibition at Callaghans "Around the World in Eighty Faces" saw him paint various portraits from Geishas to Greek Gods; the exhibition proved a massive success and Ignacio has once more proved his worth with paintings of tribes men and weathered seamen to name but a few.
We look forward to seeing you all at the exhibition where we hope to bring some Spanish sunshine to Shrewsbury!
