Inbound

Inbound marvellously depicts a puffin mid-flight haphazardly returning from a successful hunting trip, with a bounty of fish clutched tightly in its beak. Waddams has captured this moment brilliantly, with the puffin’s wind-ruffled feathers giving you the sense of it flying on the breeze, high up in the air. The detail in this piece is simply exceptional, with Waddams capturing the minute details of every individual feather, to the light perfectly catching the Puffin’s webbed feet, so that they’re almost translucent enough that you can even seen the veins outlined.
