Juan les Pins

This piece attempts to capture the essence of the town ‘Juan les Pins’ in the French Riviera. With that being said the composition does not convey a typical seaside scene as you would expect with this title. These colours could definitely be seen in a seascape, so it is likely Halliday has reduced the scene to its simple shapes and colours, capturing the essence of the gentle waves and the excitement of this seaside town.
