An incredibly vibrant painting with a striking colour palett. Venard has taken ordinary subjects like a jug, fruit and a paint pot and imbues them with a sense of energy and dynamism through the use of exaggerated forms and bold constrasting colours. The geometric shapes are often depicted with heavy textures becoming almost sculptural. This simple still life composition has been transformed into a complex and visually engaging work.
