This painting by Chamaillard reflects the painter’s impressions during his walks in the countryside. In a fairly classical manner, the depiction of a simple but sweet cottage is surrounded by orchards of blossom and trees in the springtime. The lively bright vibrant brushstrokes are close to the techniques of the Impressionists and yet unique to Chamaillards style
