Nestled high on a rooftop in Paris, easel and paint brush in hand, Venard has captured the French capital skyline, featuring the Sacre Coeur in the distance. Incredible thick impasto which adds depth and texture to the work. Venard has scraped the paint back to reveal the golden yellow underneath the layers of paint.
