We're delighted to offer our gallery clients a complimentary one to two night stay in our new Artist's Residence apartment. The apartment is located in one of the oldest historic timbered buildings nestled in the town centre of Shrewsbury, known as Henry Tudor house. Steeped in history, this was where Henry Tudor, later Henry VII, stayed on his way to the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. It was at this battle that he would be crowned king of England, and claim the throne for the Tudor dynasty.
Recently refurbished to the highest standard, the apartment features two double bedrooms, a shower room, sitting room, dining area, and open plan kitchen, fully equipped for your stay. Adorned with wonderful paintings, sculpture and fine furniture the apartment sets the scene for a truly cultural experience. Best of all, it's situated just two minutes' walk from the gallery.
The apartment offers a luxurious space for Callaghan's exclusive clients to stay whilst visiting the gallery. During your stay, we'll organise lunch for you with one of the Callaghan's team. From the apartment you can also easily access Shrewsbury's array of restaurants and boutique shops, or peacefully enjoy nature on a walk along the Severn.
