Rosa Canto (Born 1968)

Rosa Canto was born in Alcante, Spain where she still resides. Her artistic studies began at the Fine Arts School in Alcoy and later she studied in Valencia at the San Carlos Fine Arts University. She is a accomplished painter in oils and in spite of her youth she has achieved merited success. Her favored subjects are landscapes. Canto's goal is to be set apart from the traditional artists and their subjects of her region, by always portraying her homeland from her personal view. She paints as she feels and she does not dwell upon the perfection of each stroke. Her work can be found in private and public collections in Spain and internationally.
