Helios Gisbert was born in Alcoy in 1958. He studied at the School of Fine Arts and Crafts in his hometown. Today he is considered to be one of the best Spanish artists in his style. Each of his works demonstrates his deep passion for landscapes and nature in general which makes the spectators aware of his high sensitivity. His canvasses show a great realism involving in a poetic atmosphere all performed with remarkable strength. He loves to combine clear colour brushstrokes and surfaces with concise lines to depict figures and attract your attention to the requested point. He has exhibited in many exhibitions and won many awards for his beautiful impressionist paintings of the Alcoy region of Spain.
