Stephen Renard (Born 1947)
After an initial career as a teacher, he became a professional portrait artist illustrator of children’s comics. In 1981 he bought a boat and that was the catalyst for his career as a marine artist. Today he is regarded as one of the world’s leading painters of yachting subjects.
