John Haynes-Williams was a British 19^th century painter, born in Worcester in 1836. He was a natural painter and specialized in Genre Paintings. Haynes-Williams developed his artistic style predominantly in London, Birmingham and Andalusia in Spain.

Haynes-Williams was very highly regarded in his day, and is still represented in the Tate and the Victoria and Albert Galleries in London.
