The Harbour

The Harbour depicts a scene alive with movement in Nadal's signature Fauvist style. Various boats are picked out amongst the waves of a cerulean sea, with a small town arranged on a hill in the background. Three abstract figures can be observed, strolling along the waterfront and enjoying the good weather. It is altogether a more tranquil scene with only small splashes of vibrant red to pick out the details like flags and a parasol.
